Beautiful picturesque coastal walk from Torre de la horadada to Cabo Roig. I recently completed this walk, there are lovely little cafes, restaurants, marinas,beach bars along the way as you pass through Mil palmeras, Campoamor and Cabo Roig. Bare in mind there are steps so may not suit every one and you can choose as far as you want to walk. The views are truly beautiful with scenery along the coast seeming to change as you reach the different towns.

One of our favourite places to go is Mar menor. Mar menor is a natural salt lake and there is hot springs with some beautiful walkways. We tend to go early in the morning but can be enjoyed at any time. There is also the option to do some kayaking which we really enjoy with all the family on the lagoon

One of our favourite places to go is Mar menor. Mar menor is a natural salt lake and there is hot springs with some beautiful walkways. We tend to go early in the morning but can be enjoyed at any time. There is also the option to do some kayaking which we really enjoy with all the family on the lagoon
Food Scene
The plaza is a short walk away and offers a lively environment with some beautiful restaurants,bars and ice cream parlours. We sometimes like to go for an evening walk along the coast and then back to Plaza Nueva for an ice cold beverage or some beautiful ice cream or crepes.

This popular restaurant is a 30 minute drive from Torre de la horadada and is definetely worth a visit. It is located looking over the sea by the marina and the views are beautiful. It is no suprise that Bocana is very popular and reserving a table is recommended. The food is possibly the nicest I have tasted in all of Spain, the chef cooks each dish to perfection. The atmosphere of the entire restaurant be it indoors or outside is really nice with beautiful views. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly. A really nice dining experience
