This is a vigorous hiking trail which takes you up to the top of scenic Camelback Mountain in Scottsdale. Views of the entire valley await you for the effort. This is not a beginners trail and take water with you. It is about an 1 hour and 20 minutes up and well worth the effort.

Travel the scenic Apache Trail ( State Route 88) There is so much to do on this trip. You can hike Lost Dutchman's Park which is a moderate hike and extremely scenic. If you find the Dutchman's gold let me know! You can drive the Trail to Canyon lake and take in breath taking views along the way. You can call ahead and book a trip on the Dolly Steam Boat and view Beautiful Canyon Lake and see where its name came from. You can stop at Goldfield Ghost Town and Mine Tour and see the old west the way it was 150 years ago. I recommend the Mine Tour.
