1 Pl. Saint-Pierre€€ - €€€. Located, as its name suggests, near the eponymous tower, I have long considered this restaurant to be the real safe bet in this part of Saint-Malo. After a drop in quality following the change of owner in mid 2021, the pleasure and quality are back. Creative French cuisine in a cosy setting with a terrace and a small view of the sea. Go there without hesitation.

For the rest, everything is perfect: the galettes are excellent (thick, soft but slightly crunchy, airy), copious and diversified in their composition, the crêpes are very good, the cider from Plerguer is fabulous and the service is more than pleasant: fast, smiling and relaxed. Located just opposite the Tour Solidor, 300 metres down the road. Not to be missed.

For the rest, everything is perfect: the galettes are excellent (thick, soft but slightly crunchy, airy), copious and diversified in their composition, the crêpes are very good, the cider from Plerguer is fabulous and the service is more than pleasant: fast, smiling and relaxed. Because St-Malo is not only the inner city and the souvenir shops or crêperies, here are some places not to be missed to better understand the historical past of the city which has the most famous men per square meter!
In fact, this is a sublime walk located on the coastal path along the GR34 and offering a breathtaking panorama. Not to be missed! Start at the bottom of the street where the studio is located at the level of the Parc des Corbières (on the left as you go down the street). Go along the coast (the sea is on the right with Dinard in sight). Pass in front of the Corbières beach, the Pointe de l'Aiguille, the Fours à Chaux beach, the Rosais beach to arrive at the Pointe de la Briantais: you are then overlooking the Rance dam. Count on two hours round trip. Be careful when the sea is high, the beach of the "Fours à Chaux" is not accessible, it is then necessary to join the road on approximately 400 m.

The fastest and most pleasant way to go from one shore to the other while avoiding traffic jams on the Rance dam and the inconvenience of parking! In 10 minutes by boat, you are in Dinard. Departure from the Dinan slipway, near the town centre.
