My favorites include the Angry Bird Salad and the Devil Wings. The foodventurous part of me loves the oyster shooters for the variety of flavors: crunchy garlic, cilantro, sauce....not for the traditionalists who want a plain oyster!

I go here when I'm missing southern food: collard greens, ribs, fried okra and black-eyed pea corn fritters. They also have delicious drinks. Not the strongest but they sure are tasty! (Go to Pizz Roma if you want a stiff drink or the Lutz if you want cheap beer)

I like to walk from here south down 37th Ave (path bisects the park by the restroom). It's a mostly unpaved scenic route through painted traffic circles, community gardens, and quiet neighborhood streets. It goes all the way to the Springwater Corridor. Turn right and you can access Johnson Creek under the bridge for a little water play. The bridge looks a little sketchy all covered with graffiti, but I've never had an issue. I frequently see kids and other dogs playing there.
