Whole heartedly recommend this lush walk. Best enjoyed on dry days or with wellies.
Simply stunning Roman relics.
Park for free at G65 ONS ( just past the car wash) and you will see the signs directing you to Croy Hill on the right, the ‘secret’ grotto however is on the path straight ahead.
An absolutely beautiful walk and I thoroughly recommend it. Takes 45 minutes at a leisurely pace.
There is a fun tree rope swing which most children will enjoy and adventurous adults too!
