A short walk from the cottage, this spot has outdoor seating only...or order at the window and take it to go sit by the big lake. I'm a fan of any of their savory handpies--the flaky crust is delectable. If looking for something lighter, the kale salad is my go-to, along with an iced cold brew.

No food service, though there is a fridge counter to pick and choose your own fancy cheeses, meats, crackers, chips to make up a custom charcuterie board. Indoor/outdoor seating available. Love this place and usually end up bringing a book to go with my chardonnay.

One of my favorite restaurants because both the food and cocktails successfully straddle delicious and interesting…and then there are just the good standbys like a classic Old Fashioned (important to say “classic” when ordering an Old Fashioned in MKE lest you end up with Sprite and muddled cherries in it 😞). Menu rotates but I had some of the *best* chocolate mousse here. Ooh la la.

I have purchased many a thing from them (several of the art pieces at the cottage I got here) and I go back as often as I can (with my iced americano in hand, from Sprocket Cafe right next door :) ). They're usually open Fri-Sun from 12 noon to 4 or 5pm.
