Giant's Causeway
If you have never been they Giants Causeway is a must see. There is a visitor s centre and a large walk around this natural wonder.
This is one of our families favourite spots as it's free and has great rock pools for the kids. This is also an area where locals like to swim as the rock pools are quite deep in areas.
If you enjoying long walks you can walk along the coastal route from Portballintra to Dunseverick which takes 2/3 hrs.

Dunseverick Harbour
This is one of our families favourite spots as it's free and has great rock pools for the kids. This is also an area where locals like to swim as the rock pools are quite deep in areas.

This is our favourite beach out of the two in Portrush. Carparking is free here and the surf is usually better. The beach also offers good shelter when out to the beach for the day with children. This beach has good facilities ( showers, toilets) and Alive surf school offer lessons on this beach.

West Strand Beach
West Strand RoadThis is our favourite beach out of the two in Portrush. Carparking is free here and the surf is usually better. great spot for families as carparking is free. small beach at the car park as you drive in on left hand side for swimming and rock pools.

There is a small tram line that you can take to Giants Causeway. I do find this rather expensive at £20 per family
