This place is a little out of the way of the main town (about a 10 minute walk from the flat) however it does great brunch! It's very popular though so either go early or be prepared to queue for a table!

This lovely place is in Caversham (about a half hour walk or 5 minute drive away from our apartment) is also great for brunch, as well as very reasonably priced food for lunch/dinner, with lots of good deals to be had! The place is quiet eclectic in taste and very welcoming. I'd suggest on a nice sunny morning talking a stroll to it along the Canal and River.

The place is quiet eclectic in taste and very welcoming. I'd suggest on a nice sunny morning talking a stroll to it along the Canal and River.

If you are wanting to celebrate a special occasion, the The French Horn is for you! Delicious French fine dining food is on offer here, with first class service. If you are wanting to celebrate a special occasion, the The French Horn is for you! Delicious French fine dining food is on offer here, with first class service. Splash out at the weekend, or they do great set menu's during the week for those on a tighter budget. This is also on the River with great views, and when you arrive you can sit in their lovely lounge with a drink, next to something roasting on a spit above the fire!
Again (can you tell we like brunch?) a great place to go for brunch :-) A lovely setting on the River with really yummy food. A 3.5 mile walk or 15 minute drive away.

Even though this is a chain restaurant, it's also a great meal here and a good vibe. They have live music every night and the food is always delicious, as are the weird and wacky cocktails on offer!

This is an amazing place, probably my favourite independent restaurant in Reading! First class food and service with a delicious menu to choose from. It's fine dining so on the higher end of the budget, but totally worth it!

This is a great fairly new restaurant and bar in reading, you can choose from having some fabulous Italian antipasti / a sharing board with some delicious wine, or take it a step further and do one of their wine and food pairings! They also offer wine tastings if you book in advance. This place has a very welcoming vibe.
