Food scene

We have never been disappointed at Tostevere. Great drinks, Mexican food with a flair, and a beautiful but small space. If you are going on the weekend definitely call for a reservation. English speaking.

Jordan's favorite spot for lunch and Aztec soup (I always ask them to add chicken to the soup). Coming to San Miguel for some traditional Mexican food? El Correo has been in the city for many, many years. We love the guacamole starter, carnitas taco and many more.

Get ready for the BEST churro you have ever eaten! The offer take out or dine in for churros. We love the ones filled with nutella or other topping, and you can never go wrong with the indulgent churro ice cream sundae! It is a Mexican tradition to pair your churro with a warm cup of hot chocolate - a must not miss! Also great for lunch or breakfast. Sometimes this place has a long line on Friday and Saturday nights. I like it, but I wouldn't wait 30 minutes for a churro.

2 blocks for your studio is this gem of a restaurant. Farm to table food for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Beautiful indoor/outdoor space. We have a long list of favorites, but love the French toast, salad of the day, and Jimmena's favorite. The food isn't fast, but worth the wait!

This is our go-to recommendation for guests on their first night in San Miguel. It is a rooftop bar and restaurant with a beautiful view of sunset. We love the Jicama shrimp tacos (it is thinly sliced jicama instead of a tortilla). And the Ciabatta traditional steak sandwich is great too. Lots of excellent drink options. This is more of a small meal spot than a large entree. Please note: They don't allow kids.

Don't bring a stroller if you don't need one.

Cobble stone streets and small stroller wheels don't go well together. But, don't worry we have a single and a double Bob stroller with the perfect wheels you can use during your stay.
