Along Settlers Road back toward Wiseman's Ferry, you will find the entrance to Dharug National Park. Here, the UNESCO World Heritage listed Convict Trail ascends from the river along the Old North Road, constructed using convict labour in the early 19th century. Several beautiful, and informative, walks cater for visitors of all ages and fitness levels.

The entrance to Yengo National Park lies approximately 45 minutes north of St Albans village. From here a variety of short and longer walks will allow you explore the native bushland.
