The hike to the waterfall base though is now officially closed and is only recommended for experienced hikers, proceed at your own risk.

Hike the Sleeping Giant Trail for 360 degree views over the beautiful garden island of Kauai. There are two trails you can take to the top of this mountain, East (3.2 miles) and West (1.7 miles). Moderate difficulty. The trailhead is only a 6 minute drive from the resort.

Spouting horn is a natural blowhole that shoots water as high as 50ft into the air depending on the tide levels. There's also a small market here full of locals selling handmade and other touristy goodies. Family friendly!
