First of all, I don't consider this a real diner. They don't open early enough or stay open late enough.
It is, however, an extremely close place to get pancakes and breakfast. Lunch available. The oldies music drives me crazy.

This is our favorite fish market. Fair prices on excellent quality fresh fish and seafood. Their chowders are fantastic and can be purchased to-go. While we always buy stuff to take home, they do operate as a restaurant. In warmer weather, sitting outside is cute. The inside seating is underwhelming.

A Manasquan institution. This is casual, gringo Mexican food. Order at the counter. Get your own soda and salsa. Fun, comfortable place. Extremely casual. It's not high cuisine, but we honestly go there once a week. BYO & liquor store is right across the street. Walk there. Parking stinks.

Picture framing and art sales. Right at the end of our street. Jen and Ian (owners) are very good friends of ours. Jen worked in the shop since high school and purchased it about 5 years ago. Besides visiting to look at and purchase art, you should go in to see shop cat, Knuckles (big fat orange guy who sleeps in the window and has 6 toes) and Hankie (who is much more active).
