Yarndley's Bush consists of 14 hectares of pristine Kahikatea bush. Access is free. An easy 30 minute bushwalk is provided along wooden boardwalks. You can wear any comfortable footwear. A large viewing platform is provided in the middle of the walk.

The walkway is mostly flat making it suitable for pushchairs and is also a popular dog walking spot. Birdlife also flourish in the Hamilton Lake area with ducks, pukeko, geese and other birdlife all easily spotted around the lake.
