A visit to the volcano is safe, fun and breathtaking. Allow 2.5 hours each way, and take warm clothes as it's cold up there! If you want to see the sunrise, you MUST book on the national parks website in advance, although space for sunset is pretty easy. The Apollo moon landings were practiced up here, and from the summit you can see the hawaiian island chain! A must do!

There are several operators to the Molokini crater that operate all year round. This is a great morning out, usually includes Lunch on the Boat. You’re practically guaranteed to see some form of marine life (such as whales, turtles, dolphins & fish) all year round, with whale sightings likely in January-March. This is still a great excursion if you choose not to get in the water.

North of the small town of Paia and on the road to Hana. Pull up at the carpark on the side of the road, grab a fresh coconut and take a light hike through the forest to several beautiful waterfall cascades. The Flora & Fauna on this hike are amazing!. Take care if you decide to swim, and be aware that some of waterfall areas require a climb down from the path.

a drive of outstanding natural beauty, as the road winds all the way to the village of Hana at the south east end of Maui. This is a whole day drive, so plan for an early start, and lots and lots of sharp turns and hairpin bends. Grab a waterfall guide for the drive as there are numerous places to stop. You can refuel and stay overnight in Hana. The motto that best describes this experience is “it’s about the journey more than the destination”.

An historic hawaiian town on the north side of the island, home to wonderful shopping & beaches. Check out the Maui brewery for lunch (great ales) and buy a t-shirt or sunglesses! There's also a great gallery showcasing local artists.

An upscale neighborhood south of Kihei and home to celebrities and the super rich. Admire the homes, play a round of golf and try The Shops at Wailea for some fun high-end shopping (Louise Vuitton, Tiffany, Gucci and more).
