This town is jumping! With a small year-round population of hardy individuals, this town comes alive in the summer... don't miss the 4th July rodeo & parade.
There are exceptional art galleries, great little boutiques & antiques stores, a small but lovely dining scene, live music in the bars. There's also an excellent gourmet wine & cheese shop called, appropriately enough, The Gourmet Cellar! Check it out...
On Wednesdays there is a super little Farmer's Market right down by the river in Sacajawea Park from 4.30 - 7.30pm
30 minutes north of the river house.... a visit to Paradise Valley is not complete without spending at least one day in Livingston

Black mountain overlooks Pine Creek Lake. The trail ends at the lake & you have to find your own way up to the peak. It is VERY steep with loose rocks. It is suggested that you have some rock climbing experience to summit Black Mtn
