Nova is catty-corner to the Kessler Theatre, and is truly the ultimate melting pot of the neighborhood. On any given night you will see the entire diversity of Oak Cliff-ites! The food is great, as is the bar, and the best part is they are open late every night, usually until 2 AM!

They serve brunch on Sundays only, and my favorite is their fried spaghetti and meatballs. Chef John interpreted this dish from his Mom frying up leftover pasta for the family breakfast the next morning.

Norma’s is a local favorite, especially for breakfast, seven days a week. It is a short walk from Casa Verde, and is famous for their selection of pies.

It doesn’t look like much, but if you want a truly authentic Mexican breakfast, this is your place! They do all of the traditional favorites, as well as more standard breakfast fare.
