Long beach - great for a beach walk! One of the best beaches in Maui. Just a few minutes from the Ocean Blue Ohana. Just take Kilohana Drive down to the end and park in the Kilohana Parking Lot. Walk across the street and then the access path between the houses and you are there!

Otherwise known as White Rock beach. Very nice and off the beaten path. Just park on Makena Road and walk to the beach on the path between the houses. Just a few minutes away from the Ohana.

Big Beach is so beautiful! Sand is white, water is turquoise. One of the largest undeveloped beaches on Maui. This is about 10 minutes South of us. Please be careful at this beach as the waves crash frequently on the beach and it can be very dangerous - we don't recommend this beach for children. On the way home, pick up the best fish taco on the island at Jazzy's Kitchen food truck, situated on the road at Big Beach. All their food is great!

Makena Big Beach
Big Beach is so beautiful! Sand is white, water is turquoise. One of the largest undeveloped beaches on Maui. This is about 10 minutes South of us. Please be careful at this beach as the waves crash frequently on the beach and it can be very dangerous - we don't recommend this beach for children. On the way home, pick up the best fish taco on the island at Jazzy's Kitchen food truck, situated on the road at Big Beach. All their food is great!

1. Walk from Malina Place to Kumulani and turn left. Walk all the way around on Kumulani until it dead ends on Kupulau and turn left. This will take you back to Kumulani, turn right and return to Malina Place.
2. A little longer loop. Go to Kumulani and turn left. Walk all the way around Kumulani until it dead ends on Kupulau and turn right. Walk down Kupulau and turn left on Keha Drive. Walk Keha Drive and then turn right on Hookipa. When you hit Kumulani, turn right and return to Malina Place.
3. Longer....Go to Kumulani and turn left. Go to Hookipia Place and turn left. At Keha Drive, turn left. Go to Kupulau and turn left. Walk to Kehala Drive and turn left. Walk to Mikioi and turn left. Go to Akala and turn left. At Hoala (just before Akala dead ends), turn left. At Kumulani turn left. Turn left at Malina Place.

Another nice hike/walk near the Sea House Restaurant near Napili Bay. This is about 55 minutes from Ocean Blue Ohana. You can park at the beach parking lot for Kapalua Beach and then take the trail. We'd recommend breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Sea House Restaurant. And if you have time, chill out on Napili Bay Beach or Kapalua Beach.

You can park at the beach parking lot for Kapalua Beach and then take the trail. We'd recommend breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Sea House Restaurant. And if you have time, chill out on Napili Bay Beach or Kapalua Beach.
