Al Shaban beach 50 kilometer south of Ummlujj with great coral reef offers white sand beaches and great shallow snorkeling. However, avoid driving your car inside the beach itself unless you are expert in driving on thick sand. Preferably, park your vehicle on the side of the rocky road. Also, there are no cell phone coverage at the location and swimming far from the shore should be with extreme caution as currents are strong.

Ummlujj has many horse stables. A famous stable is Marbat Al Hawra. Kindly call 0500461667 (Arabic speakers) before heading to ensure the horses are available at the stable. If you cannot speak Arabic, we can assist you with this. Visits must be arranged a day in advance.

Discover the old town of Ummlujj with the Emirate palace standing tall and overlooking the harbor. The palace was also visited by Lawrence of Arabia and destroyed by an Italian navy ship during WWI. It's now a museum that demonstrate the history and life of Ummlujj. To the west of the palace, a historical and renovated Souk is close-by. It doesn't offer much for shopping but it is great for photographers.

To visit a mango farm, Salamah bustan farm is one of the best to visit.
Cost of entry is 20 SAR/ person which includes visiting the farm, resting as long as you want at a picnic area in the center, and picking mangos for tasting (to be eaten at the resting area and not to be taken out of the farm)
You can request coffee for 20 SAR, tea for 15 SAR , 8 SAR for mango juice at the resting area.
if you want to purchase mangos to take away (in boxes), you will need to inquire about the current prices. Usually the small box is 20 SAR, medium box is 40 SAR and big the box is 100 SAR. But beware, if the harvest this season is low, price of the big box can jump to 150 or 200 SAR/box!
No reservation is required, you can just show up.
