There is a fabulous walk around the light house, just don't walk too close to the edge. Dolphins and the occasional whale can be seen from the cliffs. Many seabirds nest in the area known as Diarmuid and Grainnes rock. The lighthouse should reopen in April 2021 after refurbisments - ready for tours again and a new visitor centre.

An absolute must see - wonderful cliffs. A great path with seats available. The is one bridge left now, it is fabulous.

This is an absolute must. the cafe overlooks the Pollock Holes in Kilkee - 30 minutes from Sonas. The start of the Kilkee Cliff Walk is also here.
