Four miles away (five minute drive). Or, if you are visiting Alcester and want to extend your walk, it's approximately a 1.5 mile stroll each way.

Alcester is a lovely tudor town, filled with character. There are plenty of places to eat and drinks, with lots of pubs. They have lots of events in the year, and the annual food festival is popular.

A firm favourite, as the tudor house, grounds and chapel are beautiful. Great history, as this is linked to the gunpowder plot - lots of catholic treasures to see. There are some lovely walks in and around Astwood Bank - from flat, one mile strolls to 12 mile hilly/woodland walks taking in the local countryside. Please ask your host for guides or printed directions - unfortunately, due to Covid, we are unable to leave leaflets/brochures etc in the room.
