We tend to drive to here and around the reservoir takes about an hour but you can walk to this from our house, it's a good walk 2-3 hours. You head to Holmbridge, half of this walk is along roadside. There's a bridge called Blackpool bridge here, takes about 2.5 hours but apparently worth the effort.

A lovely circular walk via the Oil can cafe.. can walk from our house
We drive to here and park up, great walk takes us a good hour but you can go further.. our dog loves to splash in the water.

I would recommend a visit to Pigs in the Wood because it's simply a magical place, you can interact with the pigs ,take them food , the people looking after these rescued pigs have a genuine love for them. Remember you wellies and book in first.

Great to visit to see the animals but good food and shop also available. You can walk around Cawthorne park and enjoy the garden centre.

Very close, you can drive to close by then it's a 30 minute walk to the water fall. It's stunning, go in sturdy shoes for when you get close to the waterfall.
