A personal favourite of ours. Great food, and a really lovely garden overlooking the fields. Ickham is also a very pretty village. The have local ales on tap, as well as a very good gin selection!

Slightly more expensive, and considered as a fine dining restaurant by the locals. The Dog has won Kent pub of the year for a few years in a row now, and has a very good reputation locally. You will definitely need to book a table if you want to go out for dinner here.

We love The Pedaler - it has London quality coffee! They also serve good brunches and cakes. The opening hours have been changing over the last couple of months since Covid-19 so it is well worth checking their website for the latest information. It has a nice outside space too.

Another favourite of ours, as it serves really good coffee. They also have really good lunches, but you do need to get there early as they sell out quickly. I can personally recommend the lemon or orange polenta cake - delicious!

This is a local landmark, serving proper Italian gelato since 1932. The interior is 1950s ice-cream parlour, they even have free doggie ice-cream! A must-visit if you are heading to Broadstairs.

Good coffee and excellent cinnamon buns! Right on the harbour arm and a great spot for some Sunday morning people watching. Be warned... there is occasionally quite a strong seaweed pong... it all adds to the atmosphere though!

This is the only takeaway that actually delivers to Stourmouth! I'm afraid to say that we haven't ever actually had a delivery so we can't personally vouch for the food, however I have from our neighbours that it is good.

This is our closest beach - only 15 minutes away. It is great for kite-surfing as it is pretty windy up there! There are long stretches of sand and pebble beach, and normally doesn't get too busy. Not the most picturesque beach but still lovely and reasonably quiet.

Fantastic sandy beaches, perfect for families. It can get quite busy at the best of times, so be prepared for it to be really busy this summer. There are lots of good pubs, restaurants and fish and chip shops.
Broadstairs is made up of lots of different beaches - the main ones are:-
