It stands for Car Free Day! It's a weekly event where the main roads of Central and South Jakarta are closed for cars and are turned to a Carnival. Where communities (from cyclist, runner, dog enthusiasts, rollerblader, skateboarder and so on) gathered. This event also hosts food stalls, local street performer and street merchant.
The access from our place is rather easy as well, with public transportation or the nearest starting point of this "Carnival" is just 1 km away.
This is the best time and place to get to know Jakarta at its best!
