Some of the best pastries money can buy! Be sure to get the Huckleberry bear claw. Don't miss Northern Lights Saloon for pizza and beer next-door. Our recommendation is to get pastries to go from the Mercantile, then take a trip up to Bowman or Kintla Lake in Glacier National Park. There are plenty of hiking options from both lakes. On your return trip, be sure to stop at Northern Lights Saloon for pizza and beer! The road to the Mercantile is paved about halfway, the rest is a well maintained and traveled dirt road.

Entering Glacier National Park via Polebridge is the local's secret. Escape the crowds and explore one of the most special places on Earth. Bowman and Kintla lakes are the two best access points for hikes.
