Food scene

You MUST go and have an ice cream here. This ice cream parlour is run by a family - the Vears - and has been for many years. The ice cream is delicious, even in winter time! They all sell cakes and coffee too. Grab a bite and then sit on the bench and look out to the ‘heavens’ in front of you and up to Far Lypiatt!

Stroud launched the UK’s first ever framers market. And this is it! The bustling market takes place every Saturday morning. Make sure to get to town early to get a parking space at it is busy. The market hosts a variety of local food and produce makers as well as arts and crafts. It’s a must visit!
