It is named for chief donor Phil Knight's son, Matthew Knight, who died at the age of 34 in a scuba diving accident.

Oakway GC is a great executive course located in a beautiful woodland area in Eugene. Be sure and tour the neighborhood as many of the homes have landscape that rival Japanese gardens. The staff is very friendly and the course is challenging.
