Sightseeing

A nice green space with lots to offer. A playground, running track, outdoor gym equipment, a skate park, bike and jogging lanes, parking, a meadow to picnic in, and beautiful views of the water and the NYC skyline. There are free concerts, events, fireworks and even a carnival every summer. This is a park, so keep in mind that everything is outdoors.

This is a great spot to wander around and take in the eclectic collection of murals. From whimsical to wise, the artists have given us a chance to peek into their souls and experience their art in a unique surrounding. From here, you can head to Socrates Sculpture Park for more art. So much to see in Queens!

Neighborhoods

Once an industrial expanse of warehouses and taxi depots, Long Island City has seen remarkable change in the past two decades. Its waterfront is now lined with upscale, glassy new developments aimed at young professionals who seek luxury amenities and convenient access to Midtown. New parks, restaurants, bars, and other amenities have transformed this somewhat gritty area into a comfortable and scenic place to live and work. And the views of Manhattan are to die for!
