Food scene
Sioux Falls is known for having busy restaurants on the weekends. Be prepared to wait for a table but if you don't mind sitting at the bar, you can usually get in pretty fast.
Very Nearby. Great food, good brewery, craft cocktail menu. You can shop here & eat...two fun things. If you're lucky, they will be sampling items. You can walk to Looks and it's about a half mile. Take a look at Google Maps and find the shortcut through Diamond Valley's club house or through the golf course's tunnel that runs under 69th!
They are also a fine meat market if you want to spend some money on something to smoke on the green egg or brew up sous vide style! The instant pot pressure cooker will get you dinner faster! There are cheaper places to get good meat nearby but this will be the high end quality. Try their steak tips from the meat counter on the grill, and see if you like them as much as our friends do.

Nearby. This is a mom and pop shop with award winning wings! Good for microbrews and bbq. We like it because it is fast, affordable, and good food just south of here. NOTE: It looks like the place is closed when you drive by. Just brave it - you'll be glad you did as the staff is friendly and the service is good.

Our Hiking Spots
We like to exercise but it's so much more enjoyable within a park or out in nature. Here are a few places you might enjoy.
Winter or summer this is a nice place to hike or rent cross country skis. If you're just hiking, park in the far end of the lot away from the ski chalet - there is a trail head at the far end of the parking lot. Free to hike! Watch for dog droppings - we've seen some slackers on clean up here as it is open to pets.
