One of the best Turkish places in London, very worth the 20-minute walk from the flat. We love the hummus, chips, lamb beyti and their local wines by the glass. Make sure you're hungry, the portions are generous!

Probably the most Instagrammable place in Deptford. Stop by to try one of their signature cocktails served in tea cups (our favourites are Duke of Deptford and Lady Marmalade) and marvel at the impressive collection of kitsch that grows every day. Skip the food though.

Healthy
Our local yoga studio is a very inclusive, lovely place that welcomes yogis of all levels (newbies too!). Wonderful, super friendly teachers and really great classes from morning to evening. Feel the burn with Angie's mandala classes, move mindfully guided by Alice's soothing voice, or have the most epic restorative yoga class with Kevin (he does voiceovers for books).
