Paddle Boarding
Paddle Board – Don’t pay for a lesson unless you have extra cash. You can rent boards anywhere but the easiest place we found was off Kamaole II Beach. Just North (1/2 Block) is Café O’lei and below that is a good place you can rent and then walk the paddle board to the beach. Get your board as soon as it opens and go early as once the waves get going around 10:00 or 11:00AM then it is extremely wavy and difficult. I would only pay for half day in the morning to try it at first.

Café O’lei – Affordable nice restaurant in Kihei with quality food. Fish, Chicken, Sushi, these guys have it all. The blackened Mahi Mahi is my favorite.

Kihei Café – Best Breakfast/Brunch. The line is long but moves fast. Huge portions and great quality too. Watch out for the roosters and chickens who are harmless but run around the outdoor seating near your feet.

Cool Cat Café – Best Burger on the Island – Located in Lahaina across from the Banyan tree on the second floor this quaint little restaurant serves up wonderful food. Try the Onion Rings too. I once saw a guy walk in to the restaurant with a huge Tuna on his back. Incredible!!!!

La Perouse Bay – Take half a day and make the drive. Bring covered shoes as the lava can cut your feet very easily. Hike around the bay, see the baby goats. Keep going and you might make the small lighthouse tower. The agile can climb to the top for amazing views.
