The Mud House (Cherokee Street/walking distance) - Fantastic coffee and breakfast options. I recommend arriving before 9:30 am to avoid the rush. They don't do table service, so head straight to the counter to order when you arrive. I recommend the truffle dip for their potatoes. So good! They have a beautiful patio out back too!

Soulard Coffee Garden is just a few miles away in the historic Soulard neighborhood. Great serviced and large menu including a full coffee bar. If the weather is nice their patio is the place to be. We recommend arriving before 9:30am to beat the morning rush.

Pizza Head is known for it's awesome punk rock interior and ONLY have vegetarian and vegan pizza options. Their pizza is one of the best in the city and their "meat" options will fool any carnivore in to believing they are having the real thing.
