Just 5km up the hill you’ll find the Loddon Falls. It’s a challenging walk down into the gorge but worth it in winter, autumn, spring and early summer for a swim.

A short walk downhill from the cottage is this naturally carbonated spring and quiet picnic area. You can drink the natural mineral water straight from the tap. As it’s naturally high in iron you’ll notice a distinct iron taste and some discolouration once the oxygen mixes with the water, but the locals swear by it :)
