Walk through Arnold Circus, an area full of victorian council housing and some beautiful shops and cafes and on to Shoreditch High St. You'll find a lot of a independent fashion retailers, restaurants and markets (Brick Lane).

Walk through Arnold Circus, an area full of victorian council housing and some beautiful shops and cafes and on to Shoreditch High St. You'll find a lot of a independent fashion retailers, restaurants and markets (Brick Lane).
Dalston is another of East London's old neighbourhoods that now boasts a huge amount of nightlife. It's also famed for it's amazing selection of Turkish restaurants (go to 'Mangal 2'). It's a 25 minute walk north, or a 5 minute train ride from Hoxton overground station.
