Levinsky Market is the largest spice market in Israel, starting in the 1930s when a group of Jews from Thessaloniki in Greece decided to move to Israel, opening stores selling the special spices and foods they brought from the Balkans and creating the market area we know today.
After a few years, Israel grew and Jews from all over the world came to live in it, some of them new immigrants from Iran who decided to join and open a shop in Levinsky market, adding to the market the flavors and smells of Persian cuisine. Today Levinsky Market is a vibrant market that combines fine shops and restaurants and a variety of flavors and cultures.
Today, the market is located along Levinsky Street, and includes stores with a huge culinary variety: crackers and dried fruits, bakeries, delicatessen and restaurants. In addition, there are specialty shops and places that can only be found at Levinsky Market. The magic of the market and many other stories and legends have made it the culinary gem of Tel Aviv.

The "Herzl 16" restaurant bar contains an architecturally designed urban restaurant space and part of the open courtyard, located in the heart of the building. The place changes throughout the day that in fact you arrive in the morning to experience of a cafe with breakfasts and pastries at a very high level.
At noon the place becomes a restaurant with gastronomic influence strongly influenced by Japanese cuisine with the combination of Israeli taste. Japanese dishes and Japanese stews that the Israeli twist turns dishes into something that must be eaten!
In the evening, Herzl 16 becomes a bar with wide and fully indoor performances, a special bar with low tables and soft armchairs, at the end of a stage for live performances with changing music every evening and another magical little backyard.
Of course even in the evening there is food but is a bit different, "Herzl 16" every evening change some of their menu according to its live appearance so you can taste innovative and special dishes for that specific evening!
