First time I visited Snooze was in Houston. Shortly after, it opened 2 branches in Dallas. Always a must stop for me anywhere I find this great breakfast chain since then. Photo is at Denver Union Station. It’s always super busy but worth the wait.

In my humble opinion, best fried chicken I ever had anywhere. Listed best fried chicken in town on many food sites. It’s always busy and they prepare the food freshly as you order so be prepared for waiting time.

This pedestrian bridge besides being a landmark itself, it offers one of the best views for Dallas skyline, nice place for walking with access to Trinity Skyline Trail. You can park by Trinity Groves and walk there.

Oak Lawn park is the first public park in North Dallas, developed in 1903. There is good history that you can read online if you like history of greenbelts and urbanism. The spot I would like to highlight is the parkway, a little bit neglected but really nice to walk along the creek from Turtle creek park all the way to Reverchon park with access to Katy Trail.

While walking Downtown, make sure to stop by this amazing spiritual spot. If you have time or planning to visit Fort Worth, remember to visit Water Gardens by T&P station (Free parking). Both gardens designed by Philip Johnson, both are great urban oasis and worth to spend some peaceful time there.
