Greenwich town center and market is just a short walk from the Flat, it has plenty of cool things to do from vintage shops and bric a beach craft markets. Plenty of bars pubs and restaurants. One of my favourite for lunch is Goddards Pie shop. It’s cheap, filling, tasty and unique to greenwich.

Consistently on the top page for trip advisor out of 14000 places. This really tiny little restaurant does great Japanese food. They’re BYO and always full. They also do take away if you pick up.

Decent and well priced Turkish kebab restaurant. I’ve never had a bad meal here. Order half what you expect they like to fill you up.
