The food scene in the Wimberley area has experienced a renaissance recently. We're excited to share our favorite spots with you!
The Leaning Pear has been a Wimberley staple for many years and the ambiance can't be beat. The owners, Rachel and Matthew, are lovely people who give so much back to our community. The food here is delicious! They are dog and kid friendly with a small, shady playscape. Many of the ingredients used here are sourced from local farms and ranches. Make sure you grab a meal here while you're in town! They have gluten-free options for pizza and sandwiches, too.

Hildee's is a wonderful spot! Delicious food by chef Ryan Hildebrand and great drinks in a beautiful setting. They're known for their Sunday brunch and it's both a great date spot and family spot. Their covered patio dining is pet friendly.

Drinks & Nightlife
Wimberley isn't too much of a late night town, but there are some great spots to enjoy a drink with friends! There's definitely an overlap here with the restaurant list, particularly Community Pizza, Hays City Store and Ino'z with their extensive bars.
This winery is just a little off the beaten path which makes is a peaceful and lovely spot to relax. The building and grounds are beautiful and they even have a double decker bus and donkeys! Their house-made wines tend toward the sweet side, but they offer a good selection of other wines as well.

This is a really cool brewery! They are kid and pet friendly with great beer on tap, a cool scene, kids playscape, and an in-house kitchen. They have gluten-free and vegan food options and gluten-free cider and wine options in addition to their beer selection. The owners are wonderful people and we highly recommend adding this spot to your brewery and/or winery tour!

Old Baldy is one of the highest hills in the Wimberley valley. Take the steep trail of 218 steps to the top and get a spectacular view of the surrounding area. Recently the city and residents came together to buy the hill and make it a public park. Free.

You are allowed to bring your own cooler with beverages and snacks, or buy food from the local vendors on site. They don't sell alcoholic beverages, but you can bring your own.

The Wimberley Square has seen an influx of new, vibrant stores and we are SO excited about it! We love shopping locally for really cool treasures you can't find anywhere else. If you haven't been through the square in a while, it's definitely worth checking out!
