Amazing family run Ethiopian food! Adams Morgan is known for its Ethiopian restaurants and this is our favorite. In fact, it was just recognized within the Michelin guide! Definitely recommend if you are looking to try a local spot.

Amazing Lebanese restaurant with fresh appetizers, dining plates, and options for meat-eaters and vegetarians alike! A quick four-minute walk away. Plus you will end up right by the bridge overlooking Rock Creek Park and a wall mural with past US Presidents that is great for pictures!

On the national mall, this free Modern Art museum is one of our favorites. The exhibits are intriguing and offer a respite from the historical focus of much of DC. Plus, there is a great coffee shop in the lobby so it makes for a nice break spot between museums!
A must visit when in DC, plus they are usually open later than other museums until 7:30 pm! (Just double check with Google prior to heading over for a late visit)
