Lovely stretch of river with a waterfall. Nice picnic spot. Easy paddling and for the brave a popular swimming spot in the summer. Park in Stainforth village (5 min drive from Langcliffe), cross the main road and it’s a 5 min walk down a very steep little lane (don’t attempt to drive down as it ends in a vary narrow packhorse bridge). Alternatively you can follow the Ribble Way from below Langcliffe - this can be extremely muddy in the winter though! Up the other side of the bridge you can pop into Knights Table cafe.
