Hillegom is close to the beaches of Holland. You are 30 minutes by bike on the beautiful beach. We are happy to tell you our favorite beaches and dunes here.
Langevelderslag beach is unique. After a 2 kilometer drive through the beautiful dunes you will arrive at one of the most beautiful beaches in the Netherlands.
The beach is relative quiet compared to other beaches in the Randstad. There are nice facilities such as some nice restaurants & snackcorners and rental of beach equipment.

Our apartment is located in Hillegom, a central village in the 'Bulb area'. We will tell you here some of our favorite towns & villages in the area.
You can reach the center of Haarlem in 30 minutes by bus. Haarlem is a slightly smaller city than Amsterdam and is one of our favorite cities in the Netherlands. In Haarlem you will find beautiful buildings and small streets, a lot of shops & restaurants and various museums.

It is one of the most beautiful attractions in the Netherlands, attracting many foreign tourists. Keukenhof is only open 8 weeks a year and attracts more than a million visitors in that short time. On the colorful flower fields around the spring garden you can see beautiful flowering spring flowers such as crocuses, daffodils, tulips and hyacinths.

Linnaeushof is the largest playground in Europe. Children between 3 and 12 can play here for hours. The playground is open from 1 March to 1 October. Check their website for current opening times and prices.

The Vosse is the largest outdoor swimming pool in the Bollenstreek. De Vosse is open with good weather and has a large competition pool, children's pool, playground and a sunbathing lawn. Ideal for the hot days! It is a 10 minute walk from our apartment.
