Swimming
Beautiful place to swim! Requires a reservation though, which you can get online. There are spots from 10am to 2pm or 2pm to 6pm. The reservations keep the park from getting over-crowded which you will appreciate once you are there. There are tree ropes for swinging in to the cool and lazy river and lots of shade if you want to fall asleep with a book under the Cypress canopy!

San Marcos is only a 20 minute drive from the town of Wimberley and is also a lovely place to visit while you are staying with us! It has a river running through it! You can enjoy an in-town hour long tube hosted by the local Lion's Club. You rent a tube and get a ride back to your car (as many times as you want all day for the price of your tube rental). If you don't want to actually get IN the river, you can enjoy a drink or a meal right ON the river at Ivan's River Pub-great for people watching as it is located at the end of the tubing route and is in the middle of Sewell Park. Also, there is a town square with shops and eateries. One of our favorites is Industry (a newer addition to the local restaurants). We also enjoy Blue Dahlia for a cheese plate and glass of wine or perhaps desert and coffee.
