Things to do in Jamaica

Sightseeing

Kingston is the cultural Mecca of Jamaica. Jamaica is the worlds 3rd largest cultural exporter and that’s something for a small island in the Caribbean. The city is filled with music, dancing and colourful characters. If you can manage to take yourself away from the islands beautiful beaches, we highly recommend a few nights in the city.

Hope Gardens is not well known amongst tourists and mainly used my locals on a Sunday. During a trip here you may see families having picnics under the huge mango trees, university student studying and wedding photography. There are several gardens on the property as well as Hope Zoo. Within Hope Zoo you can find one of the cities newest restaurants “Chillins”. The fold here is local and tasty! Delight your taste buds with a visit and don’t forget to try a cocktail.

Brunch at Summerhouse is a must for any foodie. If you appreciate colonial era architecture you will enjoy the decor at one of Kingston’s most popular restaurants. Set inside The Liguanea Members Club, you can enjoy their fabulous blue mountain burger, traditional ackee & salt fish or why not some pancakes!
