There is a park in the Dells entrance. Also with miles & miles of hiking! Tip: Head down to the wishing well. Kids love the pool of water in the bottom with caves & caverns to check out.

Kids love this place for the 2 penned in buffalo. More primitive hiking than Starved Rock & Matthiessen. It sits about 15 minutes from Kishauwau property.

Neighborhoods
Ottawa is the largest town in this area and is a quick 20 minute drive north east of Kishauwau's Starved Rock Area Cabins. It has a beautiful downtown area with plenty of shops and eateries and a beautiful water feature in the middle of Washington Park downtown. Very historical with this being where the Lincoln Douglas debate took place way back when. There are beautiful murals painted on many of the old brick buildings downtown.

One of my top picks. Quaint little place to get a bite to eat if you are in Ottawa. Lunch or dinner. Just enough off the beaten path that you wouldn't find it without the locals knowledge but well worth it. Highly recommended
