One of my favourite restaurants. Great typical Austrian food in very good quality, great wine selection, still not too expensive and not too touristy. Booking in advance may be necessary.

The D'strict in the Ritz Carlton is my favourite Steak house in Vienna. Amazin food and wine variety but a pit on the pricy side. There is also a great cocktail lounge in the ground floor and a rooftop bar!

If you're interested in the history of Vienna without spending too much time on it - this is a really great 5D (3D cinema including wind, movement...) show where you find out about Vienna's history in ca. 1-2 hours. It ends with a simulation of an air raid in a bunker in WW II

It's now housing some of the greatest collections of art of Vienna (and the world). E.g. some of the prominent Klimt pictures.

Located at the very heart of Vienna, you won't be able to miss the Stephansdom (St. Stephens cathedral or "Steffl", as the locals call it). There are nice guided walking tours where you can see the catacombs underneath and take a lift up the rooftop - great!

In the park you can hike for several hours and meet deer and wild hogs...
