Wine, Dine & Explore
We couldn't possibly list all of the amazing things to do or places to eat and drink whilst you're here as there are just so many to choose from. Here's a small selection to consider when planning your trip.
The area is renowned for fabulous festivals such as ChillOut in March, Words in Winter, Clunes Booktown, the Lost Trades Fair in Kyneton, Trentham Spudfest, the Daylesford Highland Gathering and Annual Show, not to mention numerous art shows, open garden weekends, Daylesford Motorfest in February, and many musical events.
For those wishing to explore our natural environment further or to get active; there's Lake Daylesford or Lake Jubilee to walk around, a visit to the Blowhole in Hepburn, especially after good rainfall, walk part of the Goldfields Track, have a round of golf in Hepburn or Trentham, take a cooking class, drink our world famous mineral water, take a train ride from the Daylesford Railway Station, visit the Daylesford Sunday Market, enjoy a beauty treatment or spa – we have plenty to choose from, take off on a driving tour of nearby towns and villages; eg Trentham, Clunes, Creswick, Maldon, Castlemaine, Newstead, Kyneton, Glenlyon or Malmsbury, go fishing, hit one of the local trail bike rides, visit local farm gates….and relax!
A delightful and divinely beautiful Lavender farm just 10 minutes drive away.
