Hike down to the beach from the parking lot is a lot easier then the hike back up. Water is emerald blue and in the mid 50's during the summer. For a real treat, rent a pontoon boat at the keys and make the 30 min trek to emerald bay. Park the pontoon boat on the sandbar and enjoy your day! Your family will love it.
