If you are adventurous, rent a bicycle, and ride the path along the river, while passing Georgetown University , and many important historic buildings.

The property is conveniently located just minutes to 495 and 270, giving speedy access to great shops, history and restaurants. We have ample off street parking. There is a bus that can connect you to Bethesda and D.C., as well as ride sharing options.

There several local privately owned museums.
Glenstone Museum, has an amazing collection of contemporary art. The Ratner Museum as well as the KID Museum are also worth a visit. Don't miss seeing Great Falls as you take a short hike on the C&O Canal tow path.There is another small museum along the tow path, full of history about the use of the canal for transporting goods into Georgetown.

Its always advisable to bring good walking shoes, and a backpack if you wish to explore the Canal Tow Path. It is a Federal Park, and as such, is beautifully preserved and maintained.
