You can walk for miles on the ditchbanks. There are several spas, massage therapists, and yoga classes. Great stores, bookstores and cafes surround the Plaza.

For weekly guided hikes google Ocotillo Hikers. There are also several tennis courts and golf courses open to the public. In summer check out the public swimming pools or take a drive up to Elephant Butte lake. Las Cruces also has many parks and recreation centers. You can find all these online.
