This is absolutely gorgeous country, and that's coming from a guy who lived in Glacier National Park for 12 years (doing bear research). Try to determine the weather at the top before heading up the road, though.

Not a super easy drive, but fantastic once you get near the top. Nice camping pads right on the lakes. Lots of parking, and lots of trails to explore.
