This is a historic Roaring Fork Valley landmark. The dive bar of our valley with incredible food, always great 80's music seems to be playing and this is where Hunter S Thompson used to hang and the cowboys ride to and hitch their horses up outside. The best burgers and mexican, cheap good beer in an environment of funky photos and old momentos of all the times of the Taverns life. Really a fun stop for lunch or dinner. The waitresses are like old time harsh sometimes so don't take it personally!

It's one of the last old school Aspen restaurants and has amazing barbeque and greasy spoon breakfasts. It's been known and visited since it opened way back in the 60's (I think)

Lively upscale but casual with a great bar and sometimes salsa and tango dancing. Jimmy the proprietor keeps a selection of tequila which will blow your mind and always stunning food. It's been around for a very long time and it's always reliably excellent!

it's such a great place with great Thai Food, fabulous cocktails and a wonderful ambience with huge high ceilings an eating bar which goes down the entire length of the restaurant. It's always great but I hate that it's closed on Sundays!

Getting Around
the bus service is really excellent in the valley. From the tiny house bus service is limited to morning and night but overall it's spectacular for going up and down valley, to and from ski areas. Even park your car at the intercept lot in Snowmass and bus to the Ski areas to save a fortune on parking and then don't worry about that apres ski drink!
